Kolaka, SE Sulawesi, Aug 29 (ANTARA News) - A joint SAR team of the Kolaka national SAR agency and Emergency Response Group (ERG) PT.Antam with the help of locals had been diving in the location where "Windu Karsa" vessel went down, and found another victim, bringing the total number of victims found to 10.
The dead body of a male was found by the joint SAR team at 5.15 pm in Lambasina waters not far from the location where the ship sank.
Operations chief of SE Sulawesi national SAR agency Jafar Henaulu said in Kolaka on Monday night that the dead victim was found in the Lambasina waters.
The identity of the victim was still unknown, but it was about 20-25 years of age.
Earlier nine dead victims already found and taken by their families and relatives, included Musnira (21), Bustam (50), Takbir (23), Hj Naisah (35), Ifa (9) and three members of a family namely Hj Lina (45), Anwar (24) and Manda (20), and the identity of one was also still not known.
Earlier, two victims were found by the SAR team when evacuating, but now seven victims were also found, bringing the total number to nine," head of Kolaka SAR team Budi Raharja said.
Data collected by the evacuation command post of Kolaka police, shows that the dead passengers of Windu Karsa totaled ten.
In the meantime Kolaka police identification head Brig Sudarman said the last victim was Rahim (24) from Buton Utara regency, and had already been taken by his family. (Ant).
